• Cavity Prevention

  We will show your child all the instruments and answer any questions they may have about their dental visit. We will discuss dietary habits, any special dietary restrictions, and come up with a plan to help you and your child make oral health-conscious choices.

  

• Virtually Pain-Free Laser

  The Solea is a virtually pain-free technological marvel that replaces the dental drill. It is used in several procedures in our practices and, in most cases, without the need for an injection. Consult with one of our dentists to see if Solea is right for your child’s dental treatment.

  

• Fillings

  A cavity is a bacterial infection that has begun destroying the tooth. Once a cavity is discovered, the dentist removes the bacteria, cleans out the infected parts of the tooth, then fills the tooth back to its original shape with tooth-colored filling material.

  

• Pulpotomies

  The nerve center of the tooth can become infected because of tooth trauma or large cavity. In these cases, it is necessary to remove the infected portion of the nerve and treat with a special medicated filling. In most cases, a crown will be essential to protect the weakened tooth.

  Extractions are often necessary when other predictable treatment can not be performed due to extensive infection or cavity. Extractions are also sometimes necessary for orthodontic treatment.

  

• Space Maintainers

  Baby teeth help a child chew and speak but also guide the permanent teeth into the proper place. When baby teeth are extracted early, a space maintainer is sometimes recommended to help the permanent teeth erupt into the correct position.

• Sedation & Sleep Dentistry

  At Imagine, we are able to offer the full spectrum of sedation dentistry including laughing gas (Nitrous Oxide), oral conscious sedation or sleep sedation (general anesthesia).

  Some patients suffer from tongue and/or lip tie. This can cause complications with feeding, speech, and GERD among other things. At Imagine we use the latest in CO2 laser technology that provides in most cases a pain, blood and suture-free release of the attachment. Patients in many cases receive immediate relief.
